We emphasize and encourage being a community of people who do life together during and outside of the camp day!

Camp Sonshine Staff Culture
We take our culture very seriously, so it’s what makes the staff experience so special! We choose to BELONG, BECOME, BELIEVE, and go BEYOND! Check out our core values to learn more!
Are You CALLED?
Everything we do revolves around buildiing relationships with campers you are serving which leads to greater impact and more opportunities to practice sharing God’s love & truth!
Want to CONTRIBUTE to genuine community?
At Camp Sonshine, you’ll find a genuine community of believers & support from your peers & leaders! You’ll also meet your new best friends from ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Ready to be CHALLENGED?
Our desire is for you to grow into more of who God calls you to be! Get ready to UNLOCK your God-given gifts so you can UNLEASH them into the world with a bunch of new skills you’ll learn serving at camp!
Host Homes & Roommates
During the summer, you could live on-site housing or at a host home with at least 1 roommate. In camp housing, you’d live on one of our three sites! At Host Homes, the family members are close friends of Camp Sonshine and provide you and your roommate(s) with a home for the summer! Both options have been loved by past staff members!
Your roommate(s) are the ones you will get to know on a deeper level, pray with, share your ideas with, and make ice cream runs with.
