Changed. I have been changed by being at camp in many ways than I even realize but to mention a few… I have noticed the power that living out our faith has. I have realized how impactful loving on people is and how it can create opportunities for preaching the Gospel and I’ve also realized that learning theology is one thing and it’s important but true Christian living is really seen in how we treat others. I have been challenged to live a life that is more about actions portrayed in loving people and this was evident especially through the community at camp just giving themselves to the work of the Lord at camp. I have learnt to believe the best about people and it’s humbling.

CAMERON - 1 YEAR STAFF...SO FAR...

Before this summer, I would describe myself as someone who kept more quiet with my faith! I cared about others, but I didn’t always step out of my comfort zone to truly serve, share, or lead. Camp has helped me “BECOME” more of who God is calling me to be by teaching me that my identity is fully in Him! Through serving, building relationships, and seeing God work in the lives of campers, I’ve grown bolder in my faith and more willing to be used wherever He calls. I’ve been “UNLOCKED & UNLEASHED” to be a Kingdom Builder by realizing that ministry isn’t just a camp thing, it is a true everyday lifestyle. I now have a deeper passion for encouraging others, sharing the gospel, and living with intentional love. God has given me new confidence, new joy, and a new vision for using my gifts to make His name known.
