 Additional Event Details

  • Register Online – Use your existing camp account. If you’re new, please create a registration account.
  • Parent Information – Reminders and more details will be sent the week before and each day of Spring Break Camp. Make sure to add “info@CampSonshineMemeories.org” to your email contacts!
  • What to bring – Water bottle, Sack Lunch, Wear Closed Toed Shoes and/or Waterproof Boots, Backpack, Sweatshirt, Coat/Jacket and a bag to put it all in! Pro Tips: We recommend dressing in layers, so you stay warm when we are outdoors. We also recommend bringing an extra pair of socks just in case!
  • Snack Shack Money – Campers will stop by the “Snack Shack” to purchase a small treat, candy or an ice cream. Snacks range in price from $.50 – $5. There will be a free snack available during group visits for those campers who did not bring any money. *We highly encourage families to deposit money in camper accounts using your online dashboard!
  • Early Pick Ups – If you will be picking up before 4:20, please call the office to make early pick up arrangements. Campers may be away from the drop off/pick up location. *See next section for special circumstance.

  • Traveling Day – On one day during the week – usually Friday, we may be traveling to Sonshine to take advantage of activities available at this location. Please give the office a call to make arrangements for late drop offs or early pick ups.

  • Wacky Wednesday – If you will be with us on Wednesday, dress up in Camo or Tie-dye and we’ll see which team wins!

  • Medication – If your camper has medication, please fill out the Drug Authorization Form on your camper’s online portal and give the medication to a staff member at drop off. Please bring medication in original prescription bottle with camper’s name on it, if applicable.

  • Electronic Free Zone – It has always been Camp Sonshine’s policy that campers and group counselors are NOT PERMITTED to bring electronics to camp, which include but not limited to: cell phone, smart watches, handheld gaming devices, laptops, iPods, iPads, etc. Not only are these devices expensive and can be lost or severely damaged in a camp setting, but their use also interferes with and even undermines a child’s complete camp experience. We believe that being at camp is an opportunity for your camper to experience a world beyond constant connectivity and electronics.

  • Cancellations & No Shows –  Cancellation requests for a full refund must be received no less than 5 calendar days before the event. Due to staffing committments and program expenses, no refunds can be given for cancellations made less than 5 days before the event. No refunds will be given for “no shows” the day of the event.
