When someone asks how they can serve at Camp Sonshine we like to ask them, “What do you like to do? I’m sure we can find a way that you can do that at Camp Sonshine!”

Volunteer Opportunities Include But Not Limited To…
Building – From building shelves for storage, shelter for the pony, or putting up a tipi there is ways to use your handy work at Camp.
Cooking – Our counselors work hard all day so the ladies who make home-cooked meals for our counselors at the end of the day are truly fueling the ministry of Camp Sonshine.
Baking – Nothing better than a homemade snacks or cookies in your lunch during a hot summer day.
Planting Flowers – Make camp beautiful!
Landscaping – All year long there is yard work to do from raking, watering flowers or mowing.
Nana’s Snack Shack – Calling ALL Nanas – sign up early to get a spot being in the camp store / snack shack. Campers LOVE seeing “their nana” in the snack shack!
Host Homes – Our counselors work long hard days – provide a much needed place to rest and be refreshed!
Assistant Counselors – High school students or young adults who are interested in helping with a group of campers or leading an activity are encouraged to apply for one of our popular Assistant Counselor Volunteer Position. Spring Work Days
Each Saturday in April will be a work day with projects ranging from landscaping to painting, to setting up the camp activities. These are really fun to do as a family, friend group or church group!
