On Sunday, April 28th we invite you to join us for an afternoon of celebrating God’s faithfulness in providing for Camp Sonshine’s new recreation facility. We will be giving tours of this exciting facility and sharing our vision for how it will be used to impact countless lives in the coming decades. Come anytime between 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

We are celebrating the more than $411,000 raised for this project so far and are excited to invite the Camp Sonshine family to join us in reaching our next milestone of an additional $389,000 to get this new ministry tool fully operational.

At the event you will also have the opportunity to purchase blank bathroom tiles to paint and decorate. The tiles will be used to finish the restrooms and will be on display for generations to come. Don’t miss this limited time opportunity to become a part of Camp Sonshine history!!!

Camp Sonshine receives 2nd place honors in the 2013 Lincoln’s Choice Awards.

Thanks to everyone who voted for Camp Sonshine for this year’s Lincoln’s Choice Awards. We came in 2nd place for the ‘Youth Program’ category!!! We are both humbled and honored to have been nominated and to receive such an honor. We are committed to continue offering Lincoln and the surrounding communities the absolute best summer camp experience possible.

Barn Construction is Underway!!!

We are excited to share some photos of Camp Sonshine’s New Recreation Facility as it begins construction. Thanks to the many people who have given to this project , we have reached our initial fundraising goal which allows us to construct the exterior shell. We are still raising the funds necessary to finish out the interior so that we can obtain occupancy.

As you enjoy the following photos, please celebrate with us God’s faithfulness in bringing us to this point and continue to pray with us for the remaining funds so that we can start using this great facility as soon as possible.

2012 New Year’s Eve Overnighter!!!

Camp Sonshine’s annual New Year’s Eve party is almost here! Your kids are invited to join us on New Year’s Eve at Lincoln Berean Church to countdown to the New Year and spend the night celebrating the past year. Camp Sonshine’s New Year’s Eve Overnighter is a fun and safe way for K-6^th grade kids to celebrate the year and make some more great memories. Camp Sonshine Staff will be leading kids through an eventful night of games, fun, and the exciting countdown to the New Year! Give your children the chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve in a way they will remember forever!

Important Details:
- Monday, December 31 – Tuesday, January 1
- 7:00pm – 10:00am
- $20/person
- Kids in K-6th grade & previous LITs

2012 Camper Reunion Just Around the Corner

The 2012 Camp Sonshine Camper Reunion will be held on Saturday, September 22nd from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

The cost will be $25 per camper. Any first-time guest to Camp Sonshine are welcome to attend as your guest absolutely FREE of charge. Lunch will also be provided.

We also need a parental consent form signed for each guest attending. You may print off our Friend Form to be filled out by the parents of your guests and bring it with you the day of the event. Neva Belle Has Arrived…Finally

Congratulations to Camp Directors, Jeff & Trisha Keiser, and the addition of their new daughter, Neva Belle.

She was born August 16th just before 4:00 PM and weighed 9lbs 5oz. Both mom and baby are doing great.
